birthday celebrations

A few weeks ago we celebrated Christian and Chloe's birthdays with the family at Mammy's (Dustin's mom). Mammy and Grandpa were so good to the kids with all the careful thoughtfulness that went into it. The kids had so much fun and loved ALL their gifts. The family sure knows our little ones likes! :)

Christian's first kiss

Apparently Christian had his first kiss on Tuesday at school. When I picked him up from school the kids were eager to let me know the days event. :) I asked his teacher what they were talking about and she said that he and Cambria kissed at recces.

I talked to Christian when we got to the car and I guess they were playing wedding. There was only one kiss! We had a little talk about kissing and all was well. Those aggressive girls!! :)

Christian's first field trip

Christian had his first school field trip earlier this month. They went to Riley's Farm in Oak Glen and I was lucky enough to be able to go along. Yes, I even got to ride on the bus! :)I love that he likes me to be with him. I'm gonna enjoy it now because I know it won't last forever. :)

Christian's first award

Christian received his first school award last week and what a proud mom I was (and dad was too). His first few days of school were a bit rough, but man how times have changed. He just loves school! He has had to miss 2 days already due to his asthma and hates it. Each time he asks to go to school and last time even made me let him do some homework.

His teacher is just awesome and he has really taken to her. I am so grateful to her for taking the time with him. When Mrs. Proch presented Christian with his award she actually talked about his rough start and his wanting to go to school and do homework when he's sick. Yes, I had some teary eyes!!

Christian received an award for "having a great disposition." I love this! A great attitude will take you far in life and I hope that my sweet boy keeps his forever! We are so proud of you little man and we love you!! xoxo
