The first thing that I know is that Chloe does have a mad face. We saw it for the first time yesterday. Dustin and I were having KFC for lunch and decided to give Chloe a tiny taste of mashed potatoes. Bad idea! She took a second then did the yucky body shake and then gave us the face. Dustin and I looked at each other and just burst into laughter. Chloe did have another expression besides her usual smile.
The second thing that I know is that Christian must speak another language besides English. I mean what kid can possibly ignore his parents so bad. Now I know why when I tell him something 100 times in a row he ignores me. He must not understand me! :)

choo-choo obsession

What are the first and last things out of my kids mouth everyday..."choo-choo." The kid is obsessed. We knew he liked trains so we got him the DVD of The Polar Express before Christmas and hoped he would watch it since he never watches TV. Well we were right! Now the TV ALWAYS has to have some kind of choo-choo movie on. The latest is the Thomas the train cartoons or movie. Have you ever seen it? Couldn't be more boring, but he sure loves it. If he sees smoke in the air he thinks that there must be a train over there blowing the smoke. So funny!! Who knows, maybe he will grow up and be a conductor.

the BIG "30"
So I have the left behind the 20's and have now joined the the 30's club. I must admit that I am having a hard time with it so just give me a few days and I should be fine. :) So Friday afternoon we set off for Disneyland and stayed the night at the Grand California hotel. We had a great view of the park from our room and could even see the fireworks at Disneyland. Saturday the Peterson side of the family had a lunch/party for me at the park. It couldn't have been a more perfect day for the park and the kids sure seemed to enjoy it. The day ended with our Bishop's daughter's bringing over a cake that they had made for me. What a fun surprise! I really am blessed to have such great family and friends.

phases and stages
Well at the end of the night last night I got nothing accomplished that I had wanted to. I was done for!! And I owe it all to one little man named Christian. He has been sleeping so much lately so Dustin and I think that he is in a growing phase. He is also in a take my clothes off, ignore you worst than ever, push your limits, and throw anything and everything phase. Nothing we seem to try with him is working and it's so frustrating. Any suggestions?? have to admit though that is is pretty funny when he comes running into the room unexpected without any clothes on. :)
Chloe on the other hand is in an adorable stage. She is a rollie pollie and getting darn good at it. She also has found her voice. She squeals and shrieks all day and it sure is a cute sound. She is the happiest little thing and is always smiling. When I need a friendly face I know just where to look.
