Santa Monica

A few months ago, yes months, Dustin surprised me with a day out to Santa Monica. We first visited the Temple where we were married and then headed to the pier to check it out. The Temple was as beautiful as ever, but the pier was not so impressive to us. It was a fun day after being stuck in the house for what seemed like forever with sick kids.

The kids had a lot of fun on the Temple grounds, especially on the hills.

I always love the feeling I get when I visit the temple. Even if it is only the grounds. I have never been to the Santa Monica Pier and I have lived here my entire life...lol Your pictures look great.

I LOVE the L.A. Temple! I have great memories of doing baptism for the dead there and of when we had a youth conference there. I haven't been there in YEARS! I want to go do a session there! I went through the Newport Beach Temple with my cousin last summer. It was GORGEOUS!!!! I wish my house could feel as calm as it does inside the Temple...maybe someday right? Now, I am looking forward to when Kaitlyn is 12 and we can go to the Temple with her to do baptisms. Doesn't that sound AWESOME!? I can't wait!

ANYHOW!! Sorry for the long comment!

Thanks for sharing the Temple pics! OH! I have been meaning to tell you! We just found out that there's a garden behind the Snowflake Temple! Never knew that! It's beautiful of course! Wish we'd known that when we did Kari's pictures!
