just kidding

Just kidding about watching TV! It's now a little after 11pm and Christian just went to sleep. I finally had to just go sit in there so he would stay in his crib. So tonight only took about 2 hrs to get him to sleep. Can't wait for tomorrow night!! Maybe I should just get him a big boy bed even though I really don't think he's ready for it. Well off to bed for me so I can try to get a few hours sleep before Dustin's alarm goes off at 3am or Chloe's alarm goes off. :)

nothing left

I seriously feel like I have nothing left these days. Christian has me so exhausted that I can't even think straight. During the day he has his episodes. I can't even call them tantrums because they are more like fits of rage. It's ridicules! Anything from knocking things over, throwing what ever is in sight and just banging the doors cause I won't let him outside. Then don't get me started on the night routine. As I mentioned earlier this week he trashed his crib tent and is now trying to just stay in the crib at night. Well when Dustin or I finally leave his room it's a full on shout-a-thon from him. Crying and screaming like he was in pain or something. Who knows how long we actually spend trying to get him to bed at night. Right now I'm going on an hour and a half. I really don't know what to do with him. Chloe had her 6 month check up today so I asked the doc if she had any advice. Nothing new, only what we already do anyways. So that is a small idea of our life lately, just had to vent a bit. Any ideas??

Well one good thing from today was that Dustin only worked half the day so we got to see him a bit more today. It's always nice when he's home, especially these days. He watched the kids for an hour or so today so I could go take some pics of my friends sweet little boys. And I do mean sweet! It was fun and it gave me some practice. A lot more I could write about that has gone on the past few days, but maybe another time. I think I will go catch up on some TV shows that I haven't watched yet. :)

laundry advice

So I need some help with the laundry! HAHA! Seriously, I need to know what you have found that works good for you. I need to know what gets things really clean, helps with stains the whole nine yards. When you have a rough and tough little guy things don't seem to keep so well.

turtle confusion

Okay so many of you are asking about the turtle in the last post. It's my niece Jenny's. She is out of town for a few days so we have turtle duty. She always watches Jet when we are gone so we finally get to pay her back a little.

So this will be kind of all over the place because I have no real topic today. First of all I want to than all of you who comment and read my our silly blog. Wow! Did you watch Idol tonight? What the heck?? Brooke was in the bottom three...that can't be right. If you read this blog you best be voting for her next week. That's an order! In other TV news CSI is back with new episodes tomorrow night. I am so excited that I think there must be something wrong with me. :) It's one of my very favorite shows, now if Grey's would just hurry up and be new the world might just be a little better. :)

Pictures,pictures,pictures! I'm excited because we got our family pictures ordered and I can't wait to get them up in my house. Gina did a great job as usual and they came out so good! She's my idol!! Seriously!! :) So on that note, my friend Amy is going to let me come over on Friday and take some pictures of her newbie and her toddler. I love having great friends!

what did I do today??

How come I feel like I work all day long and get nothing done? Maybe because there is a silly little 2 year old right behind me every step I take. :) Anyways, I have just been feeling like a slacker lately. I start out the day with such high hopes and by the end of it I think "what did I do today?" There are just not enough hours in the day that are calm enough to be productive around here lately I guess. :)

So we spent a little more time at mt dad's tonight. We did some grocery shopping for my dad and Dustin fed the horses while I did things in the house. I hate that every time we go I know it's gonna be a bath night for Christian, but he sure has so much fun over there. Well outside that is. He is all boy that's for sure. One of his favorite things to do is play rock ball with Puppers the dog. Funny she won't catch a ball, but she loves rocks. Christian thinks it's the funniest thing.

So I just wanted to share my excitement. Christian only woke up once last night , but fell right back to sleep on his own. When he doesn't get a nap during the day he tends to wake up during the night.So he didn't even try and scale the crib rails and this morning when he woke up he called for me to come get him. I think he forgot that he can escape on his own. Shh...don't tell him! And Chloe slept all through the night also.Let's hope this is the start of something great!
