laundry advice

So I need some help with the laundry! HAHA! Seriously, I need to know what you have found that works good for you. I need to know what gets things really clean, helps with stains the whole nine yards. When you have a rough and tough little guy things don't seem to keep so well.

so...i use simple green on stains. i found it works better on them than shout or the other stain removers and so far does not fade the colors. i buy the concentrate at costco and then just mix up the different concentrations in spray bottles for kitchen, laundry, etc. also...it ends up being tons cheaper. i hate laundry :)

So, I have started using 20 mule team Borax. I was using clorox 2 on most of my colored, but it never seemed to get anything out. Borax seems to work very well in my opinion and its cheaper!! It even gets baby poop out which hello...I've thrown away a lot of outfits in the past that fall injury to poop stains. Anyway, good luck! Oh, also love the clorox pen for whites lines in boys striped shirts. Oh, I hate laundry too! I've started folding it while watching movies--that helps and giving myself rewards when it's REALLY finished.

I amke my own laundry soap and it works really well, it brightens the colors and whitens the whites! Really it honestly does, I also use vinegar as a fabric softener. I am still on the first batch I made and it is cheaper and works better than anything else I have used, and it doesn't have all the harsh chemicals and smells. The girls and I have sensitive skin and it works really well for us!

I like FelsNaptha (sp?) soap. It's a bar over by the stain removers...totally cheap and it gets out the baby poop stains!
