I'm way behind on posting, I know! We have been busy in this house or we have been sick...darn colds. Here are some recent pics of the kids that I wanted to get posted. I will post again soon, I promise, but I just need to catch up on some editing first and a million other things it seems like. :)

twilight + girls only = a fun time

Saturday was my long awaited twilight party. And it sure was worth the wait! We had way too much food and snacks of course and ate way too much, but every good party needs that. We played a few games, dished up our plates and settled in for the movie.

It was a rough time to get ready for the party, I must admit, because I became really sick with a bad head cold the day prior. Can I just say that I have the best husband ever!! He totally took control and got things done for me. I didn't even have to ask, he just did it. I am SO lucky and grateful!!

I couldn't have asked for a better group of gals to spend the evening with. It was a ton of fun! Thanks to everyone who came and for everyone who helped...I had a great night and hope you did too. We will have to do it again... :)

Also, thanks to Edward for hanging out too!! LOL :)

So on Tuesday the kids and I went to visit my dad for a bit. Sad to say, but I really don't go over there as much as I know I should. I mentally just can't handle it. I do have to admit that this visit was a lot of fun.

The kids and I ventured out to get dirty on the ranch. Christian loved all the overgrown weeds and rocks as usual. And Chloe, well lets just say that she had fun too. Needless to say both kids got a good bath that night!

Here are a few fun pics from their adventure. I think the funniest thing to happen was when a horse sneezed and Chloe almost had a heart attack. Also, she was having so much fun petting the BIG pig until it oinked at her and then it was all over and mommy had to calm her nerves. Good times for sure...

one of my favorites

On our computer we have our pictures set as our screen saver. So we see a lot of old ones that we sometimes forget about. Lately it seems that when ever I look at the screen I see one of my favorites from our La Selva Beach trip in Dec 2007.

This is when the entire family went to the cliffs for a family picture. I caught Christian trying to tell his cousin Tyler something. Tyler was such a great sport and really tried to figure out what Christan was saying. Finally Christian gave up and was off to play. These series of pictures always make me smile and remember a great trip!! :)

Christian's words...they were perfect

So I had the kids with me the other day while editing a few of the wedding pictures. As I was on a certain one Christian comes over to me and says "Oh, princess Nikki." I had to agree!!


After all, it was her Fairy Tale day so shouldn't she be a princess??

Andy & Nikki's wedding day

So Saturday was FINALLY the big day for Dustin's youngest brother Andy to marry his beautiful bride Nikki. It feels like it has been a long time coming and now it's already gone. It was pretty much a perfect day, well I think. The weather was gorgeous as were the bride and bridesmaids. And the dresses, are you kidding me, so beautiful! OK, the guys didn't look too shabby either. :) The only bad thing about the oh so sunny day and lack of shade was that it killed my pictures, well kind of. :(

Last minute we decided to get a babysitter (thank you Samantha) to stay home with the kids after the Temple ceremony while we attended the ring ceremony/reception. This was the right choice for sure. I was also the official photographer for the day's events and so no kids made it so much easier. And this also freed Dustin up to be my assistant and man was he good. Yes, I am a lucky gal!! :)

So here are some snap shots of the days events for our journal. The edited ones will go on the photography blog in a day or two. Thanks for these pics Dustin as I think you took almost all of them. :)
