Dustin turns the big 3-0

Saturday Dustin turned 30 and we celebrated all weekend long. Saturday morning we took him out to breakfast, then to Best Buy to pick out a present, then it was off to go golfing with his dad and his brothers Ryan and Greg. I thought he might enjoy some guy time! :) Then we had a sitter come over so we could go and enjoy an adult dinner. We went to the Elephant Bar and that was new for me so it was fun. Seems we always ten to go to the same places. Then we came home and had cake and ice cream with the kids.

A really bad picture of us before we headed out.
Christian was so excited to pick out party hats, they were all his idea.It sure was fun that he had no idea what the days plans were!!

Then we had plans to head to the beach on Sunday, yes Sunday I know, gasp!! :) We had planned to be gone all weekend but we changed things a bit. The weather took a weird turn and was quite cool, but we still went. Good news is I didn't have to get into a swim suit and there was no one there. Dustin and Christian did enjoy the water and Chloe enjoyed the sand.

Chloe did not like the water and ran for her life!!We stayed the night at the Embassy Hotel in Santa Ana. This is where we spent the first two nights of our honeymoon so it was nice to go back.

Then on Monday we headed to Disneyland. Again we had great cool weather. The lines were pretty short and we got almost everything done that we wanted to and still were able to leave early. This was our last visit for a few months since our passes are blacked out for the summer and that's just fine with us. :)

Christian & Chloe's first spin on the teacups.Chloe's first flight on Dumbo.
We had a great weekend and came home exhausted. I think we are still trying to recover. Happy dirty 30 honey, we love you!!

I do have to mention that we had two celebrity sitings there. At Dland we saw, well I saw, this lady and her hubby that were on some show. I am so mad cause I can't place it, but I will. Some lady asked to take a pic with her so I know she was famous, Dustin still doesn't believe me. :)

And at Cal Adventure we saw Denise Richards with her two girls and her dad. We were a little shocked actually. She looked really bad. She is so skinny that it's scary and was smaller than we thought. Dustin said she looked like a little kid! I know they always look way better on TV, but wow!!

You can see in the pictures how much fun you guys had. We went to the Elephant Bar a while back for our anniversary, and we loved it too. The beach looks awesome. Hopefully you've recovered by now from all of this fun.

I LOVE the hats Christian picked out! Sounds like you guys had a great adventure all weekend long. I have to admit, we too have gone to the beach on Sunday...however I don't know that we will do it again. We ended up getting a ticket that day!!! Talk about karma!
